How to Play

Steer with the mouse. Your snake follows the cursor, so aiming is steering.

Boost only when you can pay for it. Accelerating costs length, and length is your score and your shield.
Cut, do not chase. To end a rival you bring their head across your body, which means positioning ahead of them - the pursuit is the easy part.
Circle instead of crossing. Long snakes die when they run through their own loop. Keep your turns wider than your body length.

Arena Rules Worth Knowing

Head-to-body contact kills the head, not the body. Head-to-head kills whichever one was shorter at the moment of impact. Empty space in the middle of a crowded board is not an opening - it is bait.

Tips

Grow quiet for ninety seconds

The board's most dangerous minutes are when you are mid-length and visible. Stay on the rim, eat small, and enter the crowd only once you are long enough to cut anyone crossing you.

Never boost inside a coil

Boosting through your own loop is the most common death at the top of the leaderboard, because speed makes the turn arrive before you do.

Kill and leave

A burst is only yours while you are collecting it. Grab what you can reach and move before three other snakes arrive at the same pile.
